Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Superjolt Limited ("Superjolt", "we", "us") and govern your use of the Superjolt platform, API, dashboard, MCP interface, command-line tools, and websites (together, the "Service"). By creating an account, connecting an agent, or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind it.

1. Who we are

The Service is operated by Superjolt Limited, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 17288241, registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, United Kingdom, WC2H 9JQ.

2. The Service

Superjolt provides Firecracker microVMs and related hosting primitives — compute, storage volumes, custom domains, backups, and transactional email — that are drivable over our MCP interface, dashboard, and API. The Service is designed to be operated by AI agents on your behalf as well as by you directly. You are responsible for everything done through your account, whether by you or by an agent you connect.

We may change, add, or remove features over time. We aim to give reasonable notice of material changes that reduce core functionality, but the Service is provided on an evolving basis.

3. Accounts and eligibility

Your email address is your identity on Superjolt. Each account is keyed to one verified email; sign-in providers (Google, Microsoft, GitHub) attach to that single email. You must keep your credentials and any API tokens secure, and you are responsible for activity under them. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction. One person or organisation must not operate accounts to evade billing, suspension, or usage limits.

4. Acceptable use

Your use of the Service is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy, which forms part of these Terms. The Service enforces technical controls (outbound port restrictions, connection-rate limits, egress shaping, and email sending caps) described in that policy. Breaching the Acceptable Use Policy is a breach of these Terms.

5. Billing and payments

  • Pay as you go. Compute and other metered resources are billed per second of use. There is no free starting balance — new accounts begin at a $0 balance and must top up to start using paid resources.
  • Prepaid balance. You add funds to a prepaid balance; usage is drawn down against it in real time. The minimum top-up is $10.
  • Payment processing. Payments are handled by Stripe. By topping up you also agree to Stripe's terms. We don't store full card details.
  • Zero balance. When your balance reaches zero, running VMs are archived. Archived VMs and their backups remain recoverable for 24 hours (after which they are permanently deleted); topping up within that window restores them automatically.
  • Taxes. Prices are in US dollars. Superjolt is not registered for VAT, so no VAT is added to your top-ups. You are responsible for any taxes that may apply to you in your own jurisdiction.

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

6. Your content and data

You retain all rights to the code, data, and content you run on or store through the Service ("Your Content"). You grant us only the limited rights needed to operate the Service for you — to store, process, and transmit Your Content as you direct. We do not inspect the contents of your VMs. How we handle the personal data associated with your account is set out in our Privacy Policy. Business customers acting as data controllers can review our Data Processing Agreement.

You are solely responsible for Your Content, for having the rights to use it, and for backing up anything you can't afford to lose. While we run automated backups for resilience, you should not rely on them as your only copy.

7. Availability and support

Support is best-effort. We aim to respond to messages sent to our support channels within about one business day, but we don't guarantee a response time or continuous availability. Self-serve help is in the docs, and community support is available on our Discord — both linked from the contact page. We don't currently offer a service-level agreement (SLA).

8. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, if your balance is insufficient to cover usage, if required by law, or to protect the Service, other customers, or third parties. Where the situation allows we'll reach out first; severe abuse (for example active attacks, spam, or illegal content) may result in immediate suspension. On termination, your right to use the Service ends and we may delete your account and data in line with the Privacy Policy.

9. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, branding, and documentation, is owned by Superjolt and its licensors. These Terms don't transfer any of our intellectual property to you beyond the right to use the Service as permitted here. Feedback you send us may be used without restriction or obligation.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud).

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the total amount you paid us for the Service in the one month before the event giving rise to the claim. This section does not limit liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Indemnity

You will indemnify and hold Superjolt harmless against claims, losses, and costs arising from Your Content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, except to the extent caused by us.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence.
